Back to School - Pedestrian Safety

Many children are going back to school today. It is a good time to remind them of some preventive measures to help keep them safe.  Here are a few tips from safekidsdenvermetro.org:

• Use crosswalks
• Pay attention to traffic signals
• Make eye contact with drivers before crossing the street
• Stay close to an adult in parking lots
• Don’t use cell phone while walking
